Involved in the Construction Industry?

The recent implementation of the Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) Regulations means it there is now a requirement for SWMP on all construction projects with a contract value  greater than £300,000.  Failure to abide by these regulations can results in fines and a conviction.

What does a SWMP do?

The purpose of the SWMP regulations is to divert construction  waste from landfill via reuse, recycling and receovery.   A SWMP will need to cover the entire constuction programme and will therefore include the following phases:
