Accidents Happen

Storm damage, corrosion of tanks & fuel lines and human error can result in a loss of oil on both commercial and residential properties. When they occur they can result in a significant pollution incidents that will be the owners responsibility to remediate. Unless they are dealt with in the correct manner they can result in the property being blighted or ultimately in the owner being prosecuted in a criminal court.

Spills could result in the loss of value or prosecution

WD Environmental will work alongside UK Spill Contractors to manage the pollution incident following the initial spill response, working with the Loss Adjuster and the Regulatory Authorities to gain closure of the incident. The scope of work that may be required includes:

• Phased site assessment (ESA)
• Derivation of site specific criteria via Risk Assessment 
• Formulation of a Remedial Strategy 
• Remedial Verification of the remedial works

Following completion of these works it will be possible demonstrate to all of the interested parties that the incident can be closed.
